Welcome to My Cancer Journey—a deeply personal video series where I share my real-life experience with throat cancer, from the earliest symptoms to diagnosis, treatment, and the ongoing process of recovery.

My name is Darrell, and through Warrior Spirit 1961, I’ve made it my mission to document every stage of this journey—not just for myself, but for anyone who may be facing a cancer diagnosis, supporting a loved one, or searching for honest, firsthand insight into what living with cancer truly looks like.

This series walks through the reality of head and neck cancer, including how it was discovered, the medical tests involved, and the emotional impact that comes with hearing those life-changing words. I share my experiences with radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and the exploration of immunotherapy, along with the physical side effects and challenges that come with treatment.

But this journey is about more than medical procedures. Cancer affects every part of life—your mindset, your relationships, and your sense of identity. In these videos, I speak openly about the emotional toll of cancer, the mental battles, and the uncertainty that often follows.
